The Best Western Hotel Freienhof is a 4 star hotel located in the very centre of the medieval town of Thun, on the shores of Lake Thunersee. The hotel is found on the side of the River Aare only a few steps from one of the town's famous wooden pedestrian bridges and within an easy walk of the many shops, bars and restaurants. Entrance is into a bright, modern reception area, off which is a bar/café and the hotel dining room. In addition to a small garden, the hotel offers very comfortable and modern guest bedrooms all with private facilites, telephone, television, mini-bar, room safe, hairdryer and a kettle for tea and coffee.
